Middle East Crisis: Iran Launches Missile and Drone Attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq

Tensions in the Middle East have escalated sharply as Iran reportedly launched missile and drone attacks targeting countries that host U.S. military facilities, including Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq. Iranian forces claimed responsibility for the strikes, stating they were retaliation for recent U.S. attacks on Iran’s Qeshm Island. According to reports, ballistic missiles and drones were directed at the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and locations near Manama, Bahrain, where major American military installations are based. Local authorities said their air defense systems intercepted most of the incoming threats, while warning sirens sounded across affected areas. Following the attacks, Bahrain and Kuwait temporarily suspended flights and closed portions of their airspace as a precaution. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that further strikes could follow if U.S. actions continue.
