Breaking News: US–Iran Peace Talks Set for April 10 in Islamabad

A major development has emerged in the peace process between the United States and Iran. Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will lead Tehran’s delegation at the April 10 peace talks in Islamabad. On the American side, Vice President JD Vance will head negotiations. The talks come after a two-week ceasefire aimed at easing tensions and paving the way for a long-term agreement. Iran is expected to present its 10-point proposal, which includes lifting sanctions, compensation for damages, control over the Strait of Hormuz, and withdrawal of US forces from the region. Iran also plans to strengthen its regional influence, particularly in Iraq and Gulf nations. However, challenges remain, especially regarding Lebanon, where Israel continues military actions and has not fully aligned with ceasefire terms. Experts believe the next two weeks will be crucial in shaping future Middle East stability. The outcome of these talks could redefine regional power dynamics and determine whether lasting peace is achievable or tensions may resurface.
