Breaking News: Israel Strikes Iran’s Asadabad Missile Depot, IAEA Warns of Possible Radioactive Contamination

Israel has launched a fresh strike on Iran, this time targeting a missile depot in Asadabad, located in western Iran. The assault reportedly caused significant damage, with smoke and fire seen billowing from the impact zone. Visuals from the attack have been widely circulated, showing the aftermath of the powerful strike. According to security expert Deepak Bohra, this could mark a dangerous escalation. A new concern has emerged after International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi reportedly stated that radioactive contamination is now rising from the Natanz nuclear site, which was hit in a previous Israeli strike. If verified, this contamination could pose serious health risks for the Iranian population and signal a new phase in the conflict. Grossi’s comments, reportedly shared with the UN Security Council, have not yet been publicly denied or confirmed by Iran. Experts fear that if the contamination spreads, Iran may need to evacuate residents near Natanz, similar to past nuclear disasters like Chernobyl. Despite growing global concern, Israel—backed by U.S. military support—appears determined to continue its operations, seeing it as a “fight to the finish.” Meanwhile, critics argue the United Nations remains largely ineffective, issuing appeals but taking little concrete action.
