Breaking News: Iran Intensifies Attacks on Dubai and US Bases as Gulf Tensions Rise

The escalating war involving Iran, Israel, and the United States has now spread deeper into the Gulf region. Iran has launched repeated drone attacks targeting Dubai, including areas near Dubai International Airport. Following the strikes, authorities reportedly cancelled or diverted several flights, and Emirates temporarily suspended its operations from the airport. Heavy smoke and explosions were reported near the airport after suspected drone debris or impact from explosive drones such as the Shahed-136 drone or the Arash drone. The attacks have created panic among residents and travelers in Dubai, a city usually known for its security and luxury lifestyle. Iranian strikes also reportedly targeted a U.S. base in Dubai and the Victoria Military Base near Baghdad in Iraq using suicide drones. Iranian-backed groups claimed responsibility for the Baghdad attack. Iran’s strategy appears to focus on targeting U.S. military installations and commercial infrastructure across Gulf countries to increase pressure on Washington and its allies. At the same time, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran has no hostility toward neighboring Gulf nations and urged them not to allow their territory to be used for attacks against Iran. Meanwhile, clashes between Israel and Hezbollah continue near the Syria border, while Israel has launched fresh strikes inside Iran. The conflict is also impacting the global economy, as several foreign oil companies have reportedly begun evacuating staff from Gulf facilities due to security concerns.
