Airstrike Alert: Massive bombardment rocks Tehran while Iran retaliates by targeting the USS Abraham Lincoln
The Iran–Israel conflict has entered its eighth day, and the war is rapidly expanding across multiple fronts in the Middle East. Heavy bombardment was reported in Iran’s capital Tehran, where powerful explosions shook different parts of the city. In response, Iran claimed it targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and launched strikes on strategic locations supporting American forces. One such attack was reported near Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, where US troops narrowly escaped. Meanwhile, the conflict has also intensified in Lebanon, where Israel launched Operation Roar of the Lion. Under this operation, the Israeli military carried out massive airstrikes on more than 500 locations believed to be linked to Hezbollah. The war’s impact is also being felt in Israel, where cluster warhead missiles were reportedly seen over Tel Aviv, triggering fear and emergency alerts. In Iraq, a drone attack was reported in Erbil, indicating the conflict’s widening regional impact. However, the United States has rejected Iran’s claim of destroying the USS Abraham Lincoln. To counter the claim, the US military released fresh images of the aircraft carrier, asserting that it remains fully operational.
