Tamil Nadu: COVID-19 patient dies, toll in India rises to 11

The death toll due to novel coronavirus or Covid-19 in India now stands at 11. Over 50 fresh cases of novel coronavirus cases were reported from across the country on Tuesday, taking India’s tally to 560. With one more death early Wednesday, the death toll in India has now mounted to 11. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced a 21-day lockdown in the entire country effective from midnight to deal with the spread of coronavirus.
