Sadhvi Pragya removed from Defence Panel of Parliament after her remark on Godse

BJP leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has been removed from Defence Consultative Committee a day after she described Mahatma Gandhi's assassin, Nathuram Godse, as a "patriot" during Lok Sabha proceedings.
In a discussion on the Special Protection Group (Amendment) Bill when DMK member A. Raja cited Nathuram Godse's statement on why he killed Gandhi, Thakur interrupted and told Raja not to give example of a 'deshbhakt'.
