Mahakumbh 2025: CM Yogi Prepares for Historic Second Amrit Snan at Maha Kumbh Mela | ABP NEWS

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Prayagraj on January 29 to review preparations for the second Amrit Snan during the Maha Kumbh Mela, which coincides with Mouni Amavasya. The event is expected to draw over 5 crore devotees. So far, more than 10.8 crore people have bathed in the Sangam since the Mela began on January 13, with an estimated 45 crore pilgrims expected by February 26. Authorities have made extensive arrangements to manage the large crowds, including controlling traffic, setting up pedestrian pathways, and ensuring safety through increased personnel. Special holding areas and transportation measures are also in place for devotees. Despite heavy crowds, the administration has received praise for its efforts in ensuring a smooth experience for visitors. On the same day, CM Yogi will also attend the World Hindu Conference and interact with saints. His visit will focus on assessing the arrangements and ensuring the Mela proceeds smoothly.
