Why did police reach Munawwar Rana's house late on Thursday night?

Three teams of Lucknow police reached the house of Munawwar Rana late on Thursday night to investigate the firing complaint filed by Rana's son. But the family frowned upon it and said that the police harassed them.

On the other hand, police opine that Munawwar Rana's son conspired the firing incident in order to blame the second party involved in a land case.
