Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Wayanad on Saturday following the devastating landslide that has claimed 417 lives so far. PM Modi is likely to arrive at Kannur airport via a special flight from Delhi and then travel to Wayanad by helicopter.

Today marks the tenth day of ongoing search operations for those still missing in the aftermath of the landslide. The search efforts are concentrated in Sunrise Valley, where dog squads have been deployed to assist. Regular search operations are also being conducted in Churalmala, Mundakayi, and Samalimattam, with the entire area divided into six zones for more efficient searches. The rescue teams are working tirelessly to find any remaining survivors and to recover those who have tragically lost their lives.
