UP Operation Langda: Rape and Murder Accused Arrested After Encounter in Bulandshahr

In a major breakthrough, Uttar Pradesh Police arrested two accused involved in the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in Bulandshahr after an encounter under Operation Langda. The accused, identified as Raju and Gawli, allegedly opened fire on the police team during the operation and were injured in retaliatory action before being taken into custody. Police recovered two country-made pistols and live cartridges from their possession. The girl’s body was earlier found in a field, following which her family accused the suspects of rape and murder. Both accused have multiple criminal cases registered against them. Meanwhile, in Greater Noida, police also arrested a robbery accused after a separate encounter. Further investigation is underway.
