Unlock Phase 1: Place of worship to reopen after 2 months

To follow the social distancing guidelines and contain the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, all places of worship were shut down during the lockdown. In a deeply religious country such as India, this was seen as a mammoth task by many. However, after over two months, as part of relaxing the lockdown across the country, places of worship may reopen in the country from 8 June. Watch this report.
