Twisha Sharma Death Mystery: Missing Nylon Belt Raises Serious Questions

The case of Twisha Sharma’s suspicious death in Bhopal has taken a new turn, raising further questions about the investigation. According to reports, a key piece of evidence—a nylon belt allegedly used in the incident—was not initially presented during the postmortem, preventing proper forensic matching to confirm whether it was the same object used in the death. Later, the police sent the belt to AIIMS for forensic examination, and the report is expected soon. This procedural lapse has sparked criticism, especially as the victim’s family continues to allege that it is a case of murder rather than suicide, claiming she was mentally and physically harassed after marriage. The case is further complicated by the background of the accused family, with allegations of influence and legal connections. Meanwhile, the accused family has strongly denied the allegations, with the mother-in-law claiming that Twisha was a drug addict, a statement included in a bail application. The husband’s anticipatory bail plea is still pending, and the victim’s family is opposing it. The investigation is ongoing, with police and SIT under scrutiny for handling the evidence.
