Tiruchirappalli Customs Officials seize gold worth Rs 70 lakh | ABP News

 Based on intelligence, Officers of AIU, Trichy Airport seized 977 grams of 24K Gold valued at Rs 70.58 lakh extracted from 3 packets consisting of 1,081 grams of paste-like material concealed by the passenger in his rectum. The passenger was travelling from Dubai to Trichy on April 26. The passenger has been arrested and further investigation is under progress.
