Tarang Shakti: Panic in China and Pakistan After Indian Air Force's Biggest Exercise
The first phase of the multinational air exercise 'Tarang Shakti,' hosted by the Indian Air Force, concluded on Wednesday (August 14, 2024) in Sulur, Tamil Nadu, South India. The exercise featured impressive performances by the air forces of India, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Spain, showcasing aircraft such as the Rafale, Typhoon, Su-30, LCA, A-400 military transport aircraft, and Airbus A330 multi-role tanker transport aircraft. The Indian contingent participated in aerial combat flights, demonstrating indigenous capabilities under the 'Atmanirbhar' (self-reliance) initiative. Notably, the first phase of the multinational air exercise 'Tarang Shakti' began on August 6. The second and final phase will be held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from August 29 to September 14. This phase will include air forces from the USA, Australia, Greece, Bangladesh, Singapore, and the UAE. These air forces will participate with 70-80 aircraft, including fighter jets, helicopters, special operation aircraft, mid-air refueling aircraft, and airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft.
