Yamuna river is in spate due to continuous rain in the mountains. Due to this, all the gates of Hathnikund barrage of Haryana have been opened. It may take few hours for this water from Hathnikund to reach Delhi, due to which there is a danger of flood in Delhi. Although the flood situation in the capital has remained very less in the last 4-5 years, but the danger remains constant.
