Republic Day: UK PM Boris Johnson cancels India's tour due to COVID-19 pandemic

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has canceled his India visit slated to happen later this month. The British PM was invited as the chief guest of Republic Day Parade. He spoke to PM Modi and expressed regret over the cancellation. 

PM Johnson said that due to the rapid spread of the new Coronavirus strain in Britain, the lockdown has been imposed and in such a situation, he needs to stay in the country.
