A big respite came for the residents of Delhi on Friday, as the national capital witnessed heavy rainfall in the early hours. However, the intense rainfall led to waterlogging and traffic snarls. Several parts of the national capital received heavy rain on Friday morning, causing waterlogging and leaving several roads inundated. In the visuals shared by news agency ANI, traffic snarls were seen at ITO as rain continued to lash parts of the capital.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted generally cloudy skies and moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by gusty winds in the city over the next few days.
