Proud that my only son was martyred for country: Col Santosh Babu's mother

Col Santosh Babu was one of the 20 soldiers who were martyred while defending India's territorial integrity across the LAC in the Galwan valley in eastern Ladakh. He was the commanding officer of the troops of 16 Bihar unit stationed in the region. A teary eyed mother of Santosh Babu said, "I am sad that I lost my only son. But proud that he died for the country."
