PM Modi dials Assam CM, takes stock of flood situation

A statement released by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal reads, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi took stock of the contemporary situation regarding Assam floods, Coronavirus (Covid-19) and Baghjan Oil Well fire scenario over the phone this morning. Expressing his concern & solidarity with the people, the PM assured all support to the state."

Over 50 people have lost their lives due to floods in Assam.
