New Bhaupur-new Khurja section on EDFC inaugurated; take a look at its features

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Bhaupur-new Khurja section on EDFC. The inauguration was done via video conferencing. The 351-km New Bhaupur-New Khurja section is in Uttar Pradesh and was built at a cost of Rs 5,750 crore. 

The section will decongest the existing Kanpur-Delhi mainline. It will also enable the Indian Railways to run more fast trains.
