In a major development in the ongoing NEET paper leak investigation, a pediatrician from Latur has reportedly turned an approver in the case after sustained interrogation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The doctor, identified as Manoj Tirure, was earlier accused of allegedly purchasing examination papers for his son through an organised network linked to coaching operators and intermediaries. According to investigative sources, the accused underwent prolonged questioning during which digital evidence including mobile chats and PDF document exchanges via messaging platforms were examined. Officials claim that these exchanges indicate links between the accused and certain coaching centre operators, as well as individuals suspected of having connections within the examination ecosystem. The development is being seen as significant because the accused has now agreed to cooperate with the investigation, providing detailed statements that may strengthen the case. Authorities believe this could help establish a clearer picture of the alleged paper leak network and financial transactions involved. So far, at least 11 arrests have been made in connection with the case, and multiple suspects are still under active investigation. Officials have not ruled out further arrests as interrogation continues and digital forensic analysis progresses. The NEET examination process, conducted under the supervision of the National Testing Agency, has been under scrutiny following allegations of irregularities in certain regions. The CBI is now examining whether the alleged leak was part of a larger organised racket involving multiple states. Investigators are also probing possible institutional links and examining communication records of several suspects. Officials indicate that more evidence-based developments are expected as the investigation expands. The case continues to draw national attention due to its implications on competitive examinations and student trust in high-stakes testing systems. Authorities have assured that all aspects of the investigation will be handled with strict legal procedures and further updates will be shared as the probe advances.
