NEET Leak Case: Latur Coaching Owner Arrested as Viral Video Raises Fresh Questions

The investigation into the NEET UG paper leak scandal has intensified with the arrest of Shivraj Motegaonkar, owner of the prominent RCC Coaching Institute in Latur. The arrest was made after investigators reportedly found major links between the coaching institute and the alleged paper leak network. According to reports, nearly 42 questions asked during mock tests conducted by the coaching institute allegedly appeared almost identically in the actual NEET examination. Following prolonged questioning, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Motegaonkar, suspecting his connection with the alleged mastermind identified as Kulkarni. The controversy deepened further after a viral video surfaced online showing Motegaonkar and faculty members celebrating the institute’s “accurate predictions” of examination questions. In the video, teachers and students are allegedly heard claiming that questions asked during RCC mock tests matched the actual NEET paper “word for word.” One student reportedly stated that a mock test conducted late at night before the examination contained the same questions that later appeared in the official test. Investigators believe the leaked paper may have been circulated through mock test series to boost the institute’s reputation and attract more students. Officials are now examining digital evidence, including computers, hard drives, and mobile data seized during raids. The arrest is being viewed as a significant breakthrough in the widening NEET paper leak investigation, which has already triggered nationwide outrage, protests by students, and allegations of organized exam manipulation involving coaching networks. Authorities believe further interrogations could expose deeper links between coaching centers, middlemen, and the alleged interstate paper leak syndicate.
