Nana Patole elected unopposed as Maharashtra Assembly Speaker

Congress candidate Nana Patole has been elected unopposed as the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker. It happened after BJP candidate Kisan Kathore withdrew his name from the election process. The Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance will be represented by Nana Patole. The alliance consists up of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress in the state. He was escorted by Uddhav Thackeray to the speaker chair
