Nagpur Violence: NIA Joins Probe, Bangladeshi Connection Suspected

A major update has emerged in the Nagpur violence case, with sources revealing that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is now involved in the probe alongside the local police. The cyber cell's investigation has uncovered a Bangladesh link, indicating that a Bangladeshi user had used their Facebook account to spread false rumors and incite violence. Some of these posts even contained threats of further riots.So far, the cyber cell has identified 97 such misleading posts that were fueling misinformation. Meanwhile, Nagpur Police have registered a total of 10 FIRs related to the violence, with four cases specifically filed against individuals for posting inflammatory videos and inciting tensions on social media. Authorities are continuing their crackdown on those responsible for spreading communal unrest. Security measures have been tightened, and investigations are underway to prevent further escalation.
