Mukesh Sahani Father Murder: RJD takes to the streets against the government regarding Darbhanga murder

Mukesh Sahani's Father Murder: Jitan Sahani, the father of former Bihar minister and VIP chief Mukesh Sahani, has been murdered in Darbhanga. On Tuesday morning (16 July), chaos erupted as soon as the body was found at home. Darbhanga SSP Jagnath Reddy has confirmed the murder. Jitan Sahani was reportedly around 65 years old.

Reason for the Incident Yet to Be Revealed

The incident took place at Jitan Sahani's ancestral home in Supaul Bazar, Afzalla Panchayat, in the Birol subdivision of Darbhanga. His mutilated body was found in the house. A significant number of police personnel arrived at the scene following the incident. The reason behind the murder has not yet been revealed.

It should be noted that Mukesh Sahani is the founder of the Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) and is considered a prominent leader of the Mallah community. Recently, he had addressed several rallies with Tejashwi Yadav during the Lok Sabha elections. Mukesh Sahani's party contested three Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, but unfortunately, they lost in all three constituencies.

Father's Body Found on the Bed

The images from the crime scene are too graphic to be shown. The body appeared to have been attacked with a sharp object, leading to his death. It is reported that Mukesh Sahani's father lived alone in the house. Both of his sons, Mukesh Sahani and Santosh Sahani, live elsewhere. He also has a daughter who is married and resides outside as well.

Regarding Jitan Sahani's murder, Union Minister Giriraj Singh stated that this is not a political issue. He expressed his condolences for the murder and assured that no criminal will be spared.
