Maharashtra witnessed a historic victory for the BJP-led Mahayuti, which dominated the elections, defeating the MVA in a landslide. The alliance won 230 of the 288 Assembly seats, with the BJP emerging as the largest party, securing 132 seats. Other key allies, Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP, won 57 and 41 seats, respectively. Meanwhile, the MVA, including Congress, Sharad Pawar's NCP, and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBT), managed only 48 seats collectively. In contrast, Jharkhand saw the INDIA bloc retain power. The JMM secured 34 seats, Congress won 16, while the BJP managed 21. Smaller parties like RJD, CPI (ML), and others won the remaining seats, ensuring the NDA could not make significant inroads.
