The city, which has been witnessing severe traffic jams due to the massive influx of pilgrims, is now under strict vehicular movement restrictions in key areas near the pilgrimage sites.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has personally reviewed the situation and directed officials to enforce strict crowd management measures. Under the new system, private vehicles will not be allowed in designated zones, with shuttle services and pedestrian-friendly routes being promoted to ensure smoother movement for devotees.Authorities are deploying additional police personnel and traffic marshals to regulate the flow of visitors, particularly on Magh Purnima, when a record number of pilgrims is expected. The administration urges devotees to cooperate with the new arrangements for a hassle-free experience at the sacred event.
