Lok Sabha Elections: BJP announces 5 candidates for forthcoming elections, Drops 4 existing leaders

Modi has set a target for the BJP to win at least 370 seats on its own in the Lok Sabha elections, as well as more than 400 for the NDA. In 2019, the party fought 193 of the 195 seats on its own, leaving two for allies: Kaliabor in Assam for the Asom Gana Parishad, or AGP, and Nagaur in Rajasthan for the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party.
