J&K: Pakistan violates ceasefire amid DDC election results counting
Pakistan continued ceasefire violation on the Line of Control (LoC) on the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, officials said.
Defence Ministry spokesman, Colonel Devender Anand said at around 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday, Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along the LoC in the Mankote sector of Poonch district.
Indian Army retaliated befittingly, the spokesman said.
