IPL Auction 2022: KKR take home Shreyas Iyer for Rs 12.25 crore

Indian right-hander Shreyas Iyer, who did a brilliant job as the captain of Delhi Capitals (DC), was roped in for a whopping Rs 12.25 crore by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Iyer is also expected to lead KKR - who have won the IPL two times. Harshal Patel, who bagged the Purple Cap in IPL 2021, was bought back by RCB for Rs 10.75 cr.
