Flood In Nepal Affects Many Villages In India, Relief Awaited | ABP News

In UP, 1571 villages in 69 tehsils of 20 districts are affected by floods. Apart from these, floods in urban areas of Bareilly, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur have disrupted the lives of people. Due to which 14.80 lakh people are affected. Out of which 5.29 lakh people have suffered loss of agriculture, houses, household goods and animals. CM Yogi instructed that along with floods, concrete efforts should also be made to solve waterlogging. In view of the possibility of urban floods in urban areas, drains should be cleaned and pumping stations should be kept functional for the drainage of water from low-lying areas. Alternative arrangements of gensets should also be kept for the operation of pumping stations in urban areas.
