Farmers to stage protest in Nashik against export ban of onions
The price of onions was soaring day by day. It touched Rs 45 per kg within a month. This is why the central government of India stopped the export of the onions. The stoppage in export would have lowered the price in India. But the Nashik farmers are unhappy as they would get lesser money for same amount of onions now.
This is why the farmers were seen gearing up for protest early on Thursday morning.
