EXCLUSIVE: Akhilesh Yadav Hints at Financial Stress Angle in Prateek Yadav Death Case
Fresh twists have emerged in the mysterious death case of Prateek Yadav after Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav indirectly hinted at possible financial stress and personal struggles linked to his younger brother’s condition. The statement has added a new dimension to the ongoing speculation surrounding the sudden demise of the 38-year-old fitness enthusiast. Speaking after the completion of the postmortem at KGMU, Akhilesh Yadav recalled that Prateek was ambitious, hardworking, and deeply involved in business activities. However, he also remarked that financial setbacks can emotionally break a person, a statement now being viewed as a possible indication toward business-related pressure faced by Prateek Yadav in recent months. Sources close to the family suggest that Prateek had reduced social interactions over the past few months. Several visitors arriving at the residence reportedly stated that they frequently met Aparna Yadav but rarely interacted with Prateek himself. While no official confirmation has been made regarding depression or isolation, these developments have intensified public curiosity around his mental and emotional condition. Medical history has also become part of the discussion. Reports indicate Prateek Yadav had been undergoing treatment for health complications, including lung clotting issues, and was admitted to a private hospital on April 30 for treatment before being discharged after two days. The postmortem examination has now been completed under the supervision of a special panel of doctors at KGMU. Family members, including Akhilesh Yadav, remained present at the mortuary for nearly 40 minutes before leaving. The body is expected to be taken to the family residence on Vikramaditya Marg. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party continues to demand a high-level probe, maintaining that the sudden death of a health-conscious individual raises serious unanswered questions. Initial findings from the postmortem report are expected within the next few hours.
