Ex-Navy officer officer Madan Sharma had forwarded a cartoon of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on WhatsApp. It showed Uddhav Thackeray folding his hands in front of photographs of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and NCP President Sharad Pawar. Angered by this, Shiv Sena workers beat him up on Friday. Madan Sharma said that there was a cartoon on WhatsApp, which people of Shiv Sena Group objected to sharing. When we went to talk, 6 to 8 people started beating us together.
