In a shocking incident in Lucknow’s upscale Bhootnath market, miscreants entered the home of Harish Pandey, an undersecretary in the Science and Technology Department, and brutally attacked his wife, slitting her throat and looting jewelry, including a chain, earrings, and a ring. The daylight robbery has left the posh Indira Nagar area in shock, with police struggling to identify the culprits due to the absence of CCTV footage nearby. The injured woman is receiving treatment in a private hospital. Meanwhile, at Srinagar Airport, passengers of SpiceJet flight SG8609, bound for Delhi, protested after the flight was delayed and later canceled, alleging rude behavior by airline staff. In another case, Saba Quraishi and Rahul Parwani are accused of blackmailing a 32-year-old chartered accountant, Raj More, with a private video, leading to his suicide by poisoning in Santa Cruz’s Yashvant Nagar. The duo allegedly extorted over ₹3 crore. In Gorakhpur, a woman brutally assaulted her elderly mother-in-law, dragging her by the hair and attacking her face.
