Covid-19: 14,516 news cases in 24 hours, highest single-day spike

India witnessed its highest single-day spike to date with as many as 14,516 cases reported in the period of the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of cases has reached close to 4 lakh and currently stands at 3,95,048.

Meanwhile, the number of active cases stands at 1,68,269 and recoveries have risen up to 2,13,831. As many as 12,948 people have died with 375 fatalities reported in 24 hours.
