Controversy: BJP Poster Linking Rahul Gandhi To Pakistan Sparks Legal Threats, Cabinet Boycotts

A political storm has erupted after the BJP released a controversial poster accusing Rahul Gandhi of running a "Pakistani agenda." The poster, which merges half of Rahul Gandhi’s face with that of Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, was shared on social media by Assam minister Ashok Singhal. The Congress has strongly reacted, considering legal action against BJP’s IT cell for defamation.Simultaneously, Congress leader Pawan Khera questioned External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, comparing him to “Jaichand” for allegedly informing Pakistan in advance about Operation Sindoor. The situation has intensified with Swami Prasad Maurya, former UP minister, calling Operation Sindoor a “joke” and claiming that no terrorists were killed in the action, questioning the government’s ceasefire decision within two days.Meanwhile, China has reiterated its full support for Pakistan's sovereignty and raised concerns over India’s suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, urging peaceful talks between both nations. In a separate incident, a major fire broke out at a Delhi school during the night. The flames quickly spread to a nearby car and adjacent building. Fortunately, the fire was controlled promptly, and no casualties were reported. An investigation has been launched, with a suspected short circuit in the engine area
