India Can Play Active Role In De-Escalating Tensions In West Asia: Iran Envoy Iraj Elahi | ABP Exclusive

Dr. Iraj Elahi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Republic of India, told ABP LIVE's Nayanima Basu that Tehran is not making any attempts to escalate tensions that are currently prevailing in West Asia with the launch of 'Operation True Promise' even as Israel is continuing to rampage Gaza. He said Tehran understands that de-escalation of tensions is the only way out that will benefit all countries. In terms of India's role he said New Delhi should push Washington as one of their close allies to put pressure on Israel to stop the 'genocide' of Gaza.
