Congress leader Husain Dalwai hits back at PM Modi for his remark on Opposition over Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 and said that, "It seems like that Modi government wants to make India-Pakistan here (in India). We do not speak Pakistan's language. We speak constitutional language. CAB is against constitution.'
This comes in reaction to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remark in which he targetted the Opposition and said they are speaking the same language on Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2019 (CAB) as Pakistan.
The government had introduced Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 in the Upper House. The Bill got cleared in Lok Sabha on Monday. The CAB seeks to provide Indian nationality to Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains and Buddhists fleeing persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, has attracted cold vibes from opposition with the Congress terming it "unconstitutional".
