Breaking: Rouse Avenue Court Summons Lalu Yadav, Family in Land-for-Job Case
In a major development in the land-for-job case, Rouse Avenue Court has taken cognizance of the CBI's charge sheet against Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family. The court has issued summons to Lalu Yadav, his son Tej Pratap Yadav, daughter Hema Yadav, and all 78 accused, asking them to appear on March 11. The case involves allegations that Lalu, during his tenure as Railway Minister, provided jobs in exchange for land. Both the CBI and ED have been investigating the matter, with the CBI having previously filed two charge sheets. The latest charge sheet, now acknowledged by the court, marks a significant escalation in legal troubles for the former Bihar CM and his family. With summons issued, the case is set to proceed further in court.
