CBI has taken major action in the NEET paper leak case by arresting the owner of a prominent coaching institute in Maharashtra. The institute, based in Latur, is under investigation for its alleged role in the exam scam. According to sources, 42 questions from the coaching institute’s mock tests were reportedly repeated in the actual NEET examination, raising serious concerns about question paper leakage. The coaching owner is suspected to be in contact with the main accused mastermind, Kulkarni, who is already under arrest. He was interrogated multiple times over the past few days before being detained. During the investigation, CBI also examined video evidence where the coaching owner allegedly claimed a strong match between mock test questions and the exam paper, with students appearing to confirm it. The agency has also seized electronic devices and data from the institute to trace how the paper may have been circulated. Further questioning of related individuals, including doctors linked to the case, is ongoing. CBI officials are continuing to investigate the wider network behind the leak, and more arrests are expected as the probe deepens.
