Investigations revealed that Shariq Satha, from Dubai, had orchestrated the violence and shooting at the Shahi Jama Masjid through his accomplices, which resulted in five deaths. Three of his associates have already been arrested. The Sambhal police are working with Interpol to bring him to justice.
