Breaking: NEET Re-Exam Confirmed on June 21, Admit Cards to Be Issued by June 14

India’s Education Minister has announced key reforms following the NEET paper leak controversy. The NEET re-examination has been scheduled for June 21, with admit cards to be issued by June 14. The exam duration has also been extended by 15 minutes to provide relief to students. A major policy change has also been announced: from next year, NEET will be conducted entirely in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, replacing the traditional OMR-based system. This shift is aimed at improving transparency and reducing paper leak risks. The government has also confirmed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the alleged paper leak. The Minister stated that strict action will be taken against those involved and emphasized the goal of achieving a “zero-error examination system.” Authorities have assured students that reforms will strengthen exam security and restore trust in the national testing process.
