Shockingly, no official intervened despite the incident occurring outside the administrative office. In Lucknow, a minor argument during a public program turned violent as attendees began assaulting one another with chairs, despite many being unaware of the actual reason behind the fight. A similar incident in Haryana’s Yamunanagar escalated from a minor spat on a cricket pitch to full-blown communal violence involving stone-pelting and injuries. Meanwhile, in Maharashtra, a video of Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate playing rummy on his phone during a council session sparked political uproar, leading to protests and clashes in Latur. In Kanpur, residents protesting power cuts were allegedly threatened by a police inspector.
