BJP nominates Balbir Seechewal, Vikramjit Sahney for Rajya Sabha | ABP News

The Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha nominees are prominent environmentalist Balbir Singh Seechewal and industrialist and philanthropist Vikramjit Singh Sahney. On Monday, the two are scheduled to file their nominations. Both nominees are prominent individuals who have previously been awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian government. Their election to the Rajya Sabha is all but assured, given the Opposition parties in Punjab Vidhan Sabha combined lack the necessary numbers to advocate for their own candidates. On June 10, the election results will be announced.
