Bihar Elections 2025: Owaisi Hits Back At Tejashwi’s ‘Extremist’ Remark, Sparks Political Storm

As Bihar gears up for the first phase of polling in just two days, the political battle has sharply turned communal following a heated exchange between AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial face, Tejashwi Yadav. The controversy began after Tejashwi, in an interview, said that there was no place for “extremists” in the Mahagathbandhan, when asked why Owaisi’s party was excluded. Responding strongly, Owaisi accused Tejashwi of labeling him an extremist because of his beard, cap, and Islamic faith. In an emotionally charged speech, Owaisi declared that he would never bow before anyone except Allah and that his family proudly follows Islamic traditions. He accused Tejashwi of disrespecting Muslims in Bihar and called him fearful of AIMIM’s growing influence. Owaisi also hit out at the BJP and RSS, claiming they represented real extremism, not him. His remarks have added a fiery religious tone to the Bihar election discourse, with rallies now echoing themes of identity, faith, and political rivalry just before voting begins.
