BIG BREAKING: NEET UG NEET UG Paper Leak Case Probe Intensifies as CBI Expands Investigation

The investigation into the NEET UG Paper Leak Case has intensified, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the National Testing Agency (NTA) continuing coordinated action. Officials have reportedly identified a list of 50 individuals linked to the exam paper preparation and distribution network. Arrests are expected to increase as the probe expands across multiple states. The alleged mastermind, PV Kulkarni, a chemistry lecturer from Pune in Maharashtra, has already been arrested. He is accused of leaking the paper through intermediaries, triggering a chain involving several suspects, including Manisha Waghmare, Dhananjay Lokhande, and others. So far, at least eight people have been arrested in connection with the case. The investigation suggests a multi-layered network that allegedly sold leaked papers across coaching circles in different regions. Meanwhile, the government has announced that the NEET UG exam will be re-conducted on June 21, 2026, in offline mode across 13 languages. The controversy has also turned political, with opposition parties criticizing the government over repeated exam security failures, while authorities maintain that strict action is being taken against all those involved in the scam.
