BIG BREAKING: NEET 2025 re-exam announced on June 21 after paper leak controversy

The NEET controversy continues after the paper leak issue, with the Education Minister announcing that the exam will be re-conducted on June 21. Admit cards will be issued by June 14, and students will get their exam fee refunded. The government has assured strict action as the CBI investigates the paper leak case. A major reform was also announced: from next year, NEET will shift to a computer-based (CBT) exam system, replacing the traditional OMR-based format to improve transparency and prevent leaks. Meanwhile, students remain anxious and frustrated, saying repeated leaks and re-exams are affecting their preparation and future. The government has promised stronger security and examination reforms to ensure a fair and transparent process going forward.
