BIG BREAKING: Narendra Modi Dismisses Foreign Travel Tax Rumours

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dismissed reports claiming that new taxes or restrictions would be imposed on foreign travel. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister called the rumours “completely false” and clarified that there is no proposal under consideration to tax or restrict international travel for citizens. The clarification came after several media reports and social media posts suggested possible government restrictions on overseas travel. Addressing the speculation directly, PM Modi stated that such claims are baseless and have no truth in them. He further emphasized that the government remains committed to improving “Ease of Living” and “Ease of Doing Business” for citizens and will not introduce any such restrictive measures. The post effectively put an end to the ongoing confusion and misinformation surrounding the issue. Officials also reinforced that no policy regarding taxation or limitations on foreign travel is being discussed or planned by the government at any level.
